Review by: Len Leggette Floods througout the Dallas area earlier in the week but by the start of the weekend they had the course in excellent condition, fairways had terrific drainage and dried out completely. The greens have lots of slopes and are fairly large. Very fast when cut down. Some very demanding holes that require precise placement of the drive. I love the course.

Rockport Country Club -- A little slice of heaven...
Review by: Rand and Judy Grelsch My wife and I were passing through Rockport and found a gem of a spot. The RCC course, while "smallish" compared to the long courses that we play in Orlando, Fl.,it was a challenging and entertaining course. The greens were in wonderful shape in spite of some very dry weather and the fairways were a joy to behold. We met some wonderful folks at the club. Chief among them was Jim McBurney and his brood of fightin' McBurneys. They are a great golfing family; competitive, yet gracious. In fact, the eldest daughter, Julie, was visiting from Orlando and plays a lot of the courses that we play in O'Town. She was more big city girl than small town girl. That became apparent when she wound up in one of the courses many sand traps or difficult rough -- she was the one you could hear mutter the expletives. It was all in good fun though, and that is what this course is all about. Play it, if you have a chance!
