Spectacular views, but frustrating golf. And a pain in the rear to get to.
Advertised as one of those "special" courses, and may be if you are a 5 handicapp. I struggle to break 100, however, and this course was brutal. The fairways tended to have side slopes, and even shots in the middle of the fairway often dribbled down into water or the dense coastal underbrush. NO chance of rescuing a ball from that. Big gators, too, so I wasn't motivated to spend time searching for water balls.
All in all, an expensive time not to have fun.

Wow, talk about sand. This course is loaded with traps, yet is tough and fair at the same time. Immaculate fairways and greens make it a true pleasure to play. |
