| Review by: Kid Irascible | For those of you who appreciate well designed golf courses from the early 1900s, you will like this course. It is for true golfers, with interesting holes and small greens. Tough but very playable. If, however, you like the newer courses with lots of sizzle seemingly designed by rejects from the Las Vegas school of architecture, stay away. | |

| Spooner Golf Club -- A nice place to play | ||
| Review by: Tom | Spooner Golf Club is a nice place to play. Speed of play is usually good. The course is in great shape. Greens are faster than most in the area, but very playable. High handicappers can find the course playable, yet low handicappers can still play it and not be bored with it. | |

| Review by: Vance | I play alot of golf from Kentucky to where I live in WI and when I played this course I was amazed at the condition, maintenance and the design is cool too! The last three finishing holes, good luck, in my top ten course finishing holes list. Better not be more than 5 over when you come to these holes if you want to break 80. | |
