Otsego Golf Club -- scenic
Review by: ????? being one of the 1st courses in the country, it was challenging, and absolutely gorgeous. the 1st and 9th play along historic otsego lake. there is only one par 5, and the course is less than 3000 yards. but it is worth every cent you pay. #3 is a strong par 4.

Colonial Springs Golf Course - Pines/Valley Course -- Good Play
Review by: Rob Colonial Springs is a nicely maintained course with a lot of charachter. It can pose a difficult time to the average golfer if played off the tips. I found the gold tees (the tips) to be a long course. However, there are two other tees available to play from for men that can cut down on the length. The tees, fairways, and greens are well maintained. I would have thought that getting out as a walk-on would not be a problem with three nines, but as they say, you better get a teetime. This club has a great practice facility boasting tightly mown grass slots at the driving range, a chipping green, and a large putting green. I saw no bunker to practice from, but the rough around the green will challange you. This is true on the course as well. The staff is large and treat you like a member of a country club. The clubhouse is large in size giving you a country club feel. The only downside of the clubhouse is the grill, which is a bit pricy. I thought the greensfees are expensive too, but you do get an overall good experience for your money.
