Elkwood Golf Course -- Cotton Mouth Water Moccasins
Review by: Don Yarber This course plays pretty easy for the most part, however there is a long par five that has a swampy area where cotton mouth water moccasins have been killed. Don't make the mistake I made. I once took off my shoes, rolled up my pants and waded across this swamp. Later I was told they had just killed a 6 foot cotton mouth moccasin near the spot I waded.

Pendleton Country Club -- 2003 Club Champ
Review by: Shannon Coom get ya some! Down and from the back tees is more than most can handle. The condition of the course is usually pretty poor but, who ever gave this course a 0 rating must not play golf. I've played most of the top courses in Myrtle Beach and this is just as difficult if not tighter. This is a great test of golf for a home course. You will get every type of lie and use every shot in your bag. I'm a 1.6 at this course and play even better on away course. Maybe that is why it has one of the highest State Am scoring averages in Kentucky.
