Review by: Lee	This heavily-used public course is in very good condition all year thanks to a dedicated grounds crew. Good drainage makes it playable in the winter, too.

Fort Steilacoom Golf Course -- *Good little course*
Review by: Robert	I really like this course. I picked up my clubs again after a long hiatus, and came here to try it again. I like this course for it's "simpleness"....no water, not alot of sand, not alot of hills, or doglegs. The greens are good, but a little tricky on speed. There are a few greens that have some break to it, and some that are just straight forward. If you are looking for a fairly easy course, especially if you are a beginner, this is the place for you!!!

Review by: Mike	Great place to spend a day. Course has lots of challenges, but you can score well if you are hitting them straight -- or are able to control your draw and fade (hook and slice to most of us). Excellent staff. A great place for a company event.

If you have a reciprocal with this course, you should take advantage. It's well maintained, with narrow fairways, and challenging greens. You need to have your iron game, because your second shot into most greens is critical. A bail out will cost you a stroke, as almost all holes have sand bunkers guarding the greens. Good fun for the ave golfer and player alike. A real Must Play.

"enjoyable experience"
A course in excellent condition, sloping greens, onstar equipped carts. Significant amounts of water which is avoidable by duffers and pros alike, since it is marked and visible. Play on the day was about 4 hours even though course was busy. Starter and ranger assistance. Soda cart available. Highly recommended, particularly if you are at a resort that offers discounted access.
