Ticonderoga Country Club -- Challenging long holes & tremendously manicured
Review by: David S. This 18-holer had a great mix of long and short holes, challenging and intermediate greens. This course is in particularly good condition year after year for such hard winters. Besides for some of the grumpy old men who play the course, and think they own it and let you know it (standard, yet dieing breed of golf clientele for some courses), I have had several fantastic rounds on this course.

Northern Pines Range & Golf Course -- Sheeps would love it
Review by: Bobby The Greens are so nice that even sheeps would love it.....I wouldn't play anywhere else. The layout is fantastic. Every hole is placed just right. Don't listen to the baaa-d things people have to say, it's all good. I will be back again in the spring after I cut my wool! Baa-baa-by
