Stonehouse Golf Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Stonehouse Golf Club -- Stonehouse, a "keeper"
Review by: Zyg Pukala I played Stonehouse in September of '03 and thoroughly enjoyed the round. While looking intimidating from some of the tees, there is sufficient landing room for your tee shot. It's a very hilly (not for walkers) and picturesque course, demanding accuracy on the par 3's and requiring an accurate carry over a ravine on a number of the holes (not for the faint of heart). Am looking forward to playing it again!

Olde Mill Resort -- Mountain glory
Review by: Greg For those of you seeking a quiet out of the way golf experience, look no further. The Olde Mill Golf Resort is a wonderful track that presents its guests with a variety of challenges coupled with visual beauty. Every hole has its own unique character, yet no hole plays "unfair." The front nine plays to a number of elevation changes whereas the back nine features water lined fairways and greens. Surprisingly economical and accomodating, the folks at Olde Mill provide a wonderful setting for a relaxing golf experience. Interestingly, there are a number of wonderfully placed homesites available along the course that have apparently gone unnoticed by the masses (I grabbed mine). If your looking for fast paced and fancy, go elsewhere. If your looking for a quiet setting with beautiful scenery and interesting golf - Olde Mill is the place.
