Olalla Valley Golf Course

Olalla Valley Golf Course -- Olalla Valley Haven
Review by: Nick Thayse I would've liked to put 4 stars, but I know that there are much better courses out there. I live about 20 min. away from the secluded Olalla Valley Golf Course. Olalla is very beautiful, with little traffic. This course isn't easy by a long shot. The fairways are narrow, with trees and water a constant hazard. Some negatives are that there isn't one sand bunker, no driving range, and no chipping green. But definitely visit if you are in the area, it'll be well worth it.

Elkhorn Valley Golf Course -- now an 18 hole course
Review by: Dick Wimmers Great course wiht interesting and scenic holes. The front nine curves in a circle primarily to the right making it easier for faders than drawers of the ball. The fairways greens and bunkers are in good shape. It now has 18 holes and the back nine has one of the most difficult holes in Oregon, #11. Its a 175 yards over water to a not very large green and even the shot from the drop area is not simple. This course is well worth the scenic drive to get to it.
