Arcadia Golf Course -- Arcadia (CA) Golf Course Par 3
Review by: John Clendening Because it is a Par 3 course, I cannot give it more than 3 stars. But it is a good one to work on your short game. Despite distances ranging from 82 to 153 yards (1947 total), most of the holes feel the same and require the same narrow set of skills. There are no sand traps or water hazards, and, although the fairways are narrow, it is hard to get into trouble. The course is well maintained (you drive off mats)and pleasantly shaded. And, despite its reputation, the greens were soft and relatively slow as of this writing (5/04), apparently due to recent plugging and sanding of the greens. Worth every penny of the inexpensive $10 weekday green fees.
