Cottonwood Country Club -- Dreaded back nine
Review by: Qgolfboy The front nine is manageable for a mid-handicapper, but the back nine is very difficult with lots of trees, doglegs, and narrow fairways.

Glen "Red" Jacoby Golf Club -- College Diversion
Review by: U-Dub Grad When I went to "U-Dub" 97-98, this course was accessible, inexpensive and a great diversion from the rigors of study. The greens were always in "decent shape" (readable - not too torn up, in spite of the fact that college students are notorious for their lack of respect of other peoples property), and maybe most importantly, a very friendly and helpful staff. One of the biggest problems that occurred was due to the proximity of the Denver Metro Area, the weekends were ususally full of "foreigners" which made it hard to get a tee time on the weekend, the weekdays weren't bad. Wide open fairwawys, readable, puttable greens and Rocky Mountain scenery. If you need more than that to enjoy golf, I probably don't want to know you.
