Tameka Woods Golf Course -- A nice layout that's not kept in very good shape
Review by: TJ Slauter It's a shame that Temeka Woods is/was not in better shape the day that I played it (July '04) because it is a fun layout. The 9th hole is especially difficult. It's a relatively long par 4 that has water in front of the elevated green. Don't be too long with your approach or you could find yourself putting off the green. The back nine has some nice holes, but again poor course conditioning kept the course from being a memorable experience. The lack of a starter was also a problem the day we played as two different groups cut in front of us as we made the turn. That certainly didn't help our experience.

Griffith Golf Center -- IDEAL FOR BEGINNERS
Review by: David Curatolo This par 3 course is about half the size of most 18 hole courses. Average distance to the green is 150 yds. There are several sand-traps and a couple of water hazzards. For beginners and others who have yet to master the game this course provides 2653 yards of moderately challanging fun and it won't take you too long to complete a round. The fees are reasonable (less than $ 30 w/cart). The facilities are accomidating with a bar and food available. There are batting cages, mini-golf and other fun activities for the entire family.
