Flag Tree Golf Course -- *Flagtree lost it's best and only Pro.*
Review by: novice golfer	Flagtree is a challenging course with plenty of sand traps, and beautiful water to cross. My favorite hole is the 10th, a long par 5, dogleg to the left with traps fronting the green and a pond to the right. The most difficult is the par 4 12th, where a long drive is required before you can take a second shot to the green over a large pond. The green has a 45 degree slope from the back down to the front. I have played this course for over 30 years. It was transformed into a great golf course with the addition of Pro, Phil Wallace, several years ago. He made more improvements to the course in a few short years, than the owner Bill Hayes had done in 30 years prior. Unfortunately, Mr. Hayes and Pro Wallace could not come to reasonable terms in the buy-out and Pro Wallace has moved on to another course. If the past is repeated, this course will soon fall victim to neglect. Too bad for a fun course layout.
