Tupper Lake Country Club -- Tupper Lake Country Club
Review by: R. Curry This is a course which sits in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains and is surrounded by beautiful views of the mountains and lakes. The first 9 holes have been reconditioned and are in very nice shape. The second nine are undergoing renovation and are in a less desirable condition but are coming along nicely. Flying insects are definitely an issue during late June through mid-August. Reasonable greens fees and a comfortable country club round this course off nicely. With all said, this course currently sits as a 2-3 star course with the potential of becoming a 3+ star course once the reconditioning is completed.

Thendara Golf Club -- Ron's evaluation
Review by: Ron Bourgeois I played the course way before it became 18 holes and I still miss all those bunkers that use to dot the fairways on the front 9, however it's sill a great course. Today the only thing Thendara lacks is more genuine par 5 holes. 420 yard par 5s don't cut it. I only wish that they offered a season ticket membership for summer residents that excluded weekends and holidays. A weekday only membership which would increase their cart rentals, pro shop business and bar restaurant revenue. Maybe then the summer residents could afford to play there more often.
