Tupper Lake Country Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Tupper Lake Country Club -- Tupper Lake Country Club
Review by: R. Curry This is a course which sits in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains and is surrounded by beautiful views of the mountains and lakes. The first 9 holes have been reconditioned and are in very nice shape. The second nine are undergoing renovation and are in a less desirable condition but are coming along nicely. Flying insects are definitely an issue during late June through mid-August. Reasonable greens fees and a comfortable country club round this course off nicely. With all said, this course currently sits as a 2-3 star course with the potential of becoming a 3+ star course once the reconditioning is completed.

Hempstead Golf Course at Lido, Town Of -- watch out for the wind
Review by: NYCace Flat course with plenty of trouble. Fariway bunkers and water abound. Greens are quick and fairways are forgiving. The course is tricky in the wind which blows almost everyday. The wind can make this course much harder than it looks. The only 'problem' with Lido is the pace of play which on a weekend can run 6+ hours.
