Twin Lakes Country Club -- *alot better than it use to be...*
Review by: fat sam	i started golfing here in 1985 when i was ten years old.it was a rough course whith bad grass. i stopped playing there when i was about 16.it wasn't till about 3-4 years ago when a friend told me the cantwell's had wipped the course back into shape.so i gave it a try.what a world of differance from 10 years ago. now we frequent there.the course is exceptional and so is the service.

Cortland Country Club
"Great Private Course - Gem in CNY"
If you have a reciprocal with this course, you should take advantage. It's well maintained, with narrow fairways, and challenging greens. You need to have your iron game, because your second shot into most greens is critical. A bail out will cost you a stroke, as almost all holes have sand bunkers guarding the greens. Good fun for the ave golfer and player alike. A real Must Play.

Spring Valley Country Club
"Challenging course"
Spring Valley is an older club that recently upgraded the course layout. They changed 3 or 4 holes in the last few years. The course has no housing development on it and includes several holes that require specific tee shot placement. A good deal of wooded area surrounds the course and water does come into play on several holes. The clubhouse is typical country club and I suggest the prime rib. Outstanding.

Springfield Golf Club
"Dakota's Pebble Beach"
One would hardly expect to find a gem like the Springfield Golf Club in this rural setting in an agricultural state such as South Dakota. This course demands your best game with keeping the ball in the fairway a premium. Although not a long course, the long hitter does not have a major advantage. Tree-lined fairways are expertly maintained and the greens are challenging. All of this quality golf is accompanied by some of the most beautiful scenery in the state. The course is built on bluffs overlooking Lewis and Clark Lake and the view from every tee is extraordinary. This wonderful nine hole golf course has earned the right to be called Dakota's Pebble Beach.

Lake Arrowhead Yacht & Country Club
"Great Game if you like water"
The course is a fun and enjoyable course the water hazards are interesting and challenging. One hole very enjoyable roughly 50-60ft above the green hitting off a raveen down to the green 160 yds out.
