The Problems are 1) Most of it lies in the flood plain for Peachtree Battle Creek, which often gets flooded. Not much the grounds folks can do about it. 2)Slow play - which happens every weekend due to overcrowding. Marshals would help. 3) Condition - a bargain price for greens fees, but that doesn't leave much of a budget for rolling/rebuilding greens & bunkers, let alone filling in bare spots and eliminating weeds.
However, if you want to save some money and play a relatively short course, this is the spot for you. Some tee shots can be demanding due to mature trees. If you can shape your shots off the tee, this course is a breeze. |
