Valencia Country Club -- Valencia CC -- one of the finest in the U.S.
Review by: Gary Tharp Valencia CC is a gorgeous layout and wonderful design that only gets better with maturity. This Robert Trent Jones course is a truly great test of golf. Demanding par fives and threes along with several of the finest par fours I've ever played make for a challenging and wonderful round. The 66,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with wonderful restaurant, grill room, snack bar, and great pro shop make this one of the most beautiful settings there is to play a round of golf. The practice facilities are absolutely great. This is one of the top 100 golf courses in the United States.

Vista Valencia Golf Course - Executive Course -- Don't Waste Your Time
Review by: Al Vista Valencia makes you guarantee your tee time with a credit card and the runs up to 2 hours late on getting you on the course. A substandard par 62 course awaits. Employees have attitudes as if this were Pebble Beach. Not worth the $42.00 or the aggravation.

Vista Valencia Golf Course - Executive Course -- Short crowded course no joy to play
Review by: Gary Tharp Vista Valencia is a golf course that survives because it is one of the few places to play in the highly populated Santa Clarita Valley. This is a classic American Golf type of club. Short on amenities and long on wait, wait, wait. The goal here is to get as many people on the course that ensures the day's sales. Some very short tricked up par three's, par four's are somewhat better #1, #7, #10, and #18 are decent. It is hard to keep this course in great shape and the practice facilities are always crowded. Play somewhere else if you have a chance in So. Cal rather than here. Rounds can be up to five hours long on this executive course.
