Sun Valley Golf Course -- *Very nice 18 hole public course*
Review by: payles	The course is fairly easy with open fairways most of the way. The staff is very courteous and helpful thruogh the day. They gave very good tips to start. The course is very easy to walk with very little elevation changes. The only hole with disappointment was the 11 hole that the so called green was in the fairway due to problems with the grass on the green. The pace was very nice during the week. I look forward to playing this course very soon.

Charlie Vettiner Golf Course -- *Tough from the Tips*
Review by: Kevin	Charlie Vettiner Golf Course in Jeffersontown, KY is part of the Louisville Metro Parks system. In my opinion, it is the hardest of all the public courses in the metro area. The course plays to 6914 from the tips. Talking with pro Carl Owens the other day, I learned that Tiger Woods would only be able to drive the par 4 12th with a perfect fade over the right trees on this severe dogleg right. The course is formidable because of the number of hazards. Traps abound, creeks flow throughout, and you must be able to hit the ball from all possible stances on most holes. Green fees are $13.00 to walk and $25.00 to ride. Beers are $1.75.

"Phil Mickelson`s College Course..."
If Phil Mickelson honed his game here then you can imagine why hes so good. This course is very difficult if you dont hit the fairways, and if your drive is a little off your in trouble. This is a very tight driving type course, you must be in the fairway at all times, some holes are not as bad as others but some are hazardous to your golf game. I did not play well here, I am not a great player so after playing here I decided unless I get much better at this game I should avoid this course. The greens are extremly fast, I mean like putting on marble. The first hole is a good opening hole, if you hit the fairway your fine buuuuut, go left or right your in trouble. I hit my drive to the right as I am a lefty, i pull hooked my tee shot on to a mound, when I addresed the ball to hit it my right leg was up so high that I popped the ball straight up in to air and it went maybe 75 yds. already I was looking at bogie at best.... not a good beginning to my golf day. A great course non the less, your putting will be severly tested here...Have fun.....
