Although part of it will soon be bulldozed for a car dealership, I highly reccomend getting there while it's still a full 18 holes!
Some holes are lacking in creativity, but quite a few give tricky shots over bunkers, mounded terrain, and alongside the Hockanum River.
It's relatively affordable, and a fun way to kill an hour and a half or so. |

| Topstone Golf Course -- A star is rising |

Opened in 1997, Topstone keeps maturing each year. Greens are getting firmer, trees are getting larger and the traps are always there!
Course is always in great condition, fairways are green and mowed, and the course has excellent drainage during rainy seasons.
Water hazards do not exist but bring your sand game! Every hole is protected by bunkers.
Jim McGrath and course staff are very pleasant and Tracy does a wonderful job in the lounge.
This is a young course that just keeps getting better and better. |
