Connecticut Golf Land -- A great pitch-and-putt
Review by: Bill Sandberg Although part of it will soon be bulldozed for a car dealership, I highly reccomend getting there while it's still a full 18 holes! Some holes are lacking in creativity, but quite a few give tricky shots over bunkers, mounded terrain, and alongside the Hockanum River. It's relatively affordable, and a fun way to kill an hour and a half or so.

Grassy Hill Country Club -- never get bored
Review by: Dave Bunk I've played this course since 1994, and I never get bored of it, it's a challenging par 70. The greens always entertain the veterans, and get the best of the rookies. I'm about a 15 handicap, but consider Grassy Hill my home course and play it about a 10 handicap. My favorite hole is 16, where a good drive gives you a chance at reaching the par 5 in two. It's a must play in my book
