Connecticut Golf Land -- A great pitch-and-putt
Review by: Bill Sandberg Although part of it will soon be bulldozed for a car dealership, I highly reccomend getting there while it's still a full 18 holes! Some holes are lacking in creativity, but quite a few give tricky shots over bunkers, mounded terrain, and alongside the Hockanum River. It's relatively affordable, and a fun way to kill an hour and a half or so.

D. Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course - Black Course -- Good but not great
Review by: Sally Nagy I've been playing this course for over 20 years. The playing times on weekends are rediculous. My husband and I have quit before finishing 18 holes more often than not. The black course is in better condition but the red course is more interesting. The rangers are fine at spotting balls and picking up lost clubs and head covers, but don't do much about moving people along.
