Rolling Hills Country Club -- Great Course
Review by: A.J. Wahlquist Rolling Hills is one of a kind. I feel that it might be over looked by visitors of the Lake of the Ozarks. If you are visiting the area, I would highly reccommend you play Rolling Hills. Greens fees are very reasonable and it competes well in both length and difficulty with courses around the lake. You will have a ball and be challenged probably even more than any other golf coure in Central Missouri.

Ballwin Golf Course -- Hack Central
Review by: Kenneth This 9 hole municipal course is average. On any given day you will find that a simple 9 will take anywhere from 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 hrs to complete. For Ballwin residents the price is right (8$. For non-Ballwin residents it's a little steep (14$+5$ for cart). The greens are bent with fescue rough and great care is taken that the greens are in good shape, despite hackers and beginners rarely repairing ball marks. Pretty wide layout with a couple parallel holes lined with homes and a creek that runs through a few also with a pretty par 3 9th over a small pond. Try to get there early, but don't count on being the first out. The mayor of Ballwin plays daily, albeit at a quick pace, and the slot is generally reserved for him and his prosecuting attys. The staff is generally rude with the exception of the pro David and marshall/pro shop worker Joe. 1-1/2 stars.
