Wallingford Country Club -- Wally world
Review by: RDB This is a fun course to play. The front is fairly wide open and Long from the whites or blues. Hard to shoot even par even for a 1 or 2 handicap. The back nine is shorter and demands more accurate play but can be had under par for a short accurate hitter. Good to excellent greens, nice atmosphere in the clubhouse, great pro. All aroung fair challenge and fun to play.

Farms Country Club, The -- Home Course
Review by: Anonymous This is my home course. It's a nice track with very different nines. The front is wide open with water coming into play on #3,6 and 8. The ninth is an intereting dogleg right. Its generally better not to hit driver unless you can get it over the large, overhanging trees (which can be done, but if it's miss hit you won't be finding that ball!) The back nine is like playing a different course. There is no water, but instead, plenty of woods. Many of the holes (#10, 12, 14, 15) are doglegs. This nine is my favorite, but does require some knowledge of the course to put yourself in good playing position.

Farms Country Club, The -- Just ok
Review by: Dale Street A nice but not great golf course. Its biggest asset is it fine condition. Not much creativity in evidence. All the par threes are on the long side. Excessive number of dogleg holes (six on the front nine and four on the back). The length of the par threes and the large number of doglegs cause this to be a slow-playing course. The greens are very fast maminly because they tilt dramaticaly from back to front. They don't undulate, just tilt. You want to be a lot short rather than a little long. The rough, although not long, is quite gnarly and punishing. Need to be in the fairway. It's a good members' course.
