Sugarbush Golf Course -- A hidden gem
Review by: John Dasher This beautiful Robert Trent Jones, Sr. course was been revived by the new owners. All it needed was a new irrigation system, some better equipment and some TLC. It's new pro, Jon Rife, knows quality having worked in Nantucket and Vero Beach. It is a challenging but fair course, and the views are really spectacular - especially in foliage. Locals who had left for another course nearby are returning and hoping that the word does not get out. One tip - the greens break away from the Mountain

Northfield Country Club -- Nice Course / Great Greens
Review by: PD This is a challenging 9 hole course for any golfer. The first 2 holes cross the brook 3 times and again on hole 7 & 9. A tree line blocks the railroad tracks on the upper side of holes 6 & 7, but watch out for the down hill slope that can take your ball all the way to #9. #4 - affectionately called the Volcano Hole - can cause you to pull out your hair. We always have a good time here.
