The owners have put a lot of money back into the course over the years - completely re-doing the greens on the front 9 and changing several of the holes. The course lends itself to a scramble format, as there are many "risky" tee shots that can pay off if someone on your team is "safe". A huge slice comes in handy on many holes! You won't find friendlier staff ANYWHERE. |

Look at the scorecard - no traps, short - should eat it up, right? WRONG - hit the ball long or right on #1, you're in the lake. #2 is maybe 10 paces wide; #3 - look out for the ditch; #4 - OB left, lake right - if you finish the hole with the ball you hit off the tee, you did well. #5 is 10 paces deep. #6 is a 3 shot par 5. #7 is a tough par 3 - severe green. #8 is a birdie hole. On #9 - it's further than you think to the green, and there are subtle breaks. Enjoy your round. |
