Country Club of Waterbury -- country club of waterbury
Review by: Steve Jones This is a Donald Ross gem. While not as long as newer clubs, it is challenging, especially when the greens have been freshly cut. Each hole is distinct and pretty much by itself as opposed to some places that either are too crowded or have do many undefined holes. This year, the course is in great shape. In the past there have been some issues with adeqaute irrigation.

Silver Spring Country Club -- Bring your A game
Review by: Anonymous I had the pleasure to play Silver Spring as a guest recently. What a treat! The course is in gorgeous condition. The tree lined front nine requires you to keep the ball in play. The back nine opens up (a little) and lengthens out. If you are new to the course, expect your share of three putts. The greens are fast, undulating and true. It's hard to imagine such a challenging course has no water. It doesn't need any water to be a great test of all your shots. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a great little club tucked right around the corner from a lot of the bigger/pricier Fairfield County clubs.
