Country Club of Waterbury -- *country club of waterbury*
Review by: Steve Jones	This is a Donald Ross gem. While not as long as newer clubs, it is challenging, especially when the greens have been freshly cut. Each hole is distinct and pretty much by itself as opposed to some places that either are too crowded or have do many undefined holes. This year, the course is in great shape. In the past there have been some issues with adeqaute irrigation.

Whitney Farms Golf Club -- *Tight and Challenging*
Review by: Tommy P	This course is a above average golfers dream. Length and contour is a premium. Tree lined fairways, you'd think you're in the Lincoln Tunnel.You need to play smart to score well. The below average golf will have ample oppurtunities to score well on the par 5's and the par 3's. The par 4's ,lets leave those for the big boys. In all, it is good for everyone, at a reasonable price, on a country club setting on a New England landscape.

"Nice Layout"
Course is well laid out, no worry of hitting into or being hit by other fairways. Golf community with housing that doesn't inhibit play. Bent grass greens are small, but fast and true. Traps need work. Rolling terrain provides challenge. Water hazards on about half the holes. Pretty course.

"Longest Corse I've Ever Walked"
The Creekview Golf Corse is an amazing golf corse . It's long and it's tough. And it also requires an extreme amount of skill. I recently had a tournament there in the fall of 2003 and believe me the extra money for the cart is worth it if you have to carry your own clubs.

Some of the holes are short but with the smaller greens and water meandering around the course it makes you think as to what club to scale back to as well as making sure you don't do too much slicing. Most of the holes you can hit right at the hole if you have a high 8,9 or PW. You have to be careful off the tee on some holes due to the water running across the fairway. The back nine has some undulating fairways. The largest green seems to be No. 18 and it slopes quite a bit downward from back to front. The fairway grass has gotten better over the years since it was known as SLOCUM golf course. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

"DCC review"
This is a wonderful course, beautifully maintained all around. The only possible knock is that if you haven't been playing for very long then it might be too difficult to you. None the less, its a must play for anyone who gets the chance.
