This is a Donald Ross gem. While not as long as newer clubs, it is challenging, especially when the greens have been freshly cut. Each hole is distinct and pretty much by itself as opposed to some places that either are too crowded or have do many undefined holes.
This year, the course is in great shape. In the past there have been some issues with adeqaute irrigation.

This is an exquisite public golf course. The people are nice and easy to get along with and the course is well maintained, and secluded. The only sounds are the sounds of nature. It is not the longest or the most challenging course, but there are some interesting holes, like number 11. ALthough the price has gone up in recent years, it is still a very economical day. One hint, if you have a big drive go at the green on 8 and for everyone, take an extra club on nine. |
