| Moor Downs Golf Course -- Nice Course For Relaxing Round Of Golf | ||
| Review by: Larry S. | This is the one of oldest golf courses in Waukesha County and is a very pleasant golfing experience - if you're not looking for an extreme challenge. The 9-hole layout features many large, statuesque oak trees (absolutely beautiful in the fall) that come into play on many of the holes. The greens are kind of small and somewhat undulating, which makes putting a challenging if you don't know where to place your approach shots. Water comes into play on two of the holes and the fairways are fairly flat. The overall condition of the course is very acceptable, although not spectacular. The real treat of this course is the laid back atmosphere that is acceptable for both experience players as well as high handicappers. I’ve golfed there many times and the people have always been friendly and patient. For the price, it’s a very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. |

| Merrill Hills Country Club -- Great old course | ||
| Review by: Teddy Brown | This is a great old course with lots of trees. It is in great condition with tremendously fast greens. Need to be good off the tee to score well. | |
