Binks Forest Golf Club -- challenging design
Review by: Kris I. After living in sunny south Florida for the past 12 years,it was refreshing playing a course that actually had some real nature to offer.Dont get me wrong,I think it was fascinating to watch a team of landscaping architects build a course in a month and make it look 20 years old.The Binks Forest was a real treat to play.I particularly enjoyed the challenging tree-lined fairways and sloping greens. From my residence in Ft. Lauderdale,I had about a 50 minute drive north and it was worth the ride.We played Binks once a month for about 4 years.I recommend this course to anyone visiting the South Florida area.

Dunedin Country Club, The -- Home of PGA/built by Donald Ross
Review by: Ron Simmons I see no mention of this course being the original home of the PGA. It was also built by Donald Ross in about 1927. If you have played other Ross course you will notice similarities. Such as small greens, most build up as a crown. The design gives you many options when chipping. I thought the course was rather well layed out. If you can keep it in the fairway you have a chance at a nice round. If not it means a lot of trouble. You cross a creek on four holes and another hole has a large pond on a dog leg. I enjoyed playing the course very much and the staff is very friendly. I understand they will be rebuilding traps and greens in part of master plan.
