Binks Forest Golf Club -- *challenging design*

After living in sunny south Florida for the past 12 years,it was refreshing playing a course that actually had some real nature to offer.Dont get me wrong,I think it was fascinating to watch a team of landscaping architects build a course in a month and make it look 20 years old.The Binks Forest was a real treat to play.I particularly enjoyed the challenging tree-lined fairways and sloping greens.From my residence in Ft. Lauderdale,I had about a 50 minute drive north and it was worth the ride.We played Binks once a month for about 4 years.I recommend this course to anyone visiting the South Florida area.

Review by: tom	according to an article in The Bradenton Herald the golf course has been sold and will be developed into 542 new homes.This is sad because it was the only walkable golf course in Manatee County. It will be missed.
