West Sayville Golf Course

Featured Golf Course Review:
West Sayville Golf Course -- walkable, well kept course
Review by: INSMANYK Short par 72 course set on the Great South Bay. It can play slow during the busy part of the golf season. If you can't hit fairways bring some extra golf balls. A waterfront course will bring the SW winds into play. Overall a nice, public course, nice people in the pro shop and restaurant.

Pheasant Hollow Golf Club -- Clean Hits a Must
Review by: Kevin Phillips A challenging nine holer. Very firm fairways due to a clay base, makes hitting the ball clean, a must. Driving over a pond on the first hole is intimidating and may require the not so skilled golfer to lay up, and take a longer secoind shot. Not necessarily a bad choice. Throw in a couple of par 5's with narrow fairays, a couple of tee shots through some narrow tree lined openings , a very reasonable price and there you have it, a fun day on the links. All in all, a nice course with a helpful staff, and with a laid back feeling that takes off the "rush rush" pressure that the big courses give, makes golfing here a very pleasurable time.
