I drive almost two hours (round trip) to play at the airways golf course. It is not only one of the nicest public courses in CT to play, but also the ticket price can't be beaten. For 22 dollars, you get 18 holes, with a cart, plus 4 dollars twards a lunch at the restaurant. You order on the 9th tee, and the food is ready for you when you finish the 9th hole. Very fair price, and beautiful course. |

For the golfer who has both the means and the right arrangement of vowels in his last name, this is the only place to play. It is fair, exacting, and its challenge endures through every round for every class of player. It is strategic golf at it's best, and even the short hitter/mid-to-high handicapper will treasure and enjoy his round on this beautiful seaside property. |
