I drive almost two hours (round trip) to play at the airways golf course. It is not only one of the nicest public courses in CT to play, but also the ticket price can't be beaten. For 22 dollars, you get 18 holes, with a cart, plus 4 dollars twards a lunch at the restaurant. You order on the 9th tee, and the food is ready for you when you finish the 9th hole. Very fair price, and beautiful course. |

In my opinion this is one of the most impressive courses in the state. The grounds are manicured and meticulously maintained, with beautiful grounds, flowers and trees. They obviously spend a lot of time and money to keep it in fantastic condition. Some great holes and a lot of different looks, from par three's over water to long uphill dogleg par fours that create a real challange. They also have a new clubhouse that is spacious and beautiful. If you get the chance to play here, take advantage of it. |
