Hanging Tree Golf Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Hanging Tree Golf Club -- Tough but fair
Review by: Ben Delaney This course forces you to hit the ball high and far on several holes. Three par four's: 1, 10, and 12 are impossible to hit in regulation for the average golfer. The par fives offer good par or birdy opportunities. Three of the par three's are easy to hit in regulation with a solid short-iron game. If you are a weekend golfer - be prepared to experience high scores. If you are experienced - be prepared to be challenged. The course personnel are the best around. The greenskeeper is doing a fantastic job of getting the course back to the excellent condition it used to be in several years ago. The driving range is a keeper and they just opened a short-game green for chipping and pitching practice. I like this course.

Hulman Links Golf Course -- Great course
Review by: Derek Fields Could be taken care of better. Was originally built with the intentions of hosting a PGA event to be tied in with the Indy 500 since the hulmans donated the land. Very tight off of the tee and you can really get yourself in trouble if you are slicer of the ball. Bring alot of golf balls you will need them make no mistake. Highest slope rating of any public course in Indiana. I only rate it four stars because its not in the shape it used to be in. Make no mistake its on fine shape now...it just used to have better taken care of bunkers and greens. But they are in decent shape.
