Hanging Tree Golf Club -- Tough but fair
Review by: Ben Delaney This course forces you to hit the ball high and far on several holes. Three par four's: 1, 10, and 12 are impossible to hit in regulation for the average golfer. The par fives offer good par or birdy opportunities. Three of the par three's are easy to hit in regulation with a solid short-iron game. If you are a weekend golfer - be prepared to experience high scores. If you are experienced - be prepared to be challenged. The course personnel are the best around. The greenskeeper is doing a fantastic job of getting the course back to the excellent condition it used to be in several years ago. The driving range is a keeper and they just opened a short-game green for chipping and pitching practice. I like this course.

Maplecrest Country Club -- WOW
Review by: Stan Evens What an amazing test of nerves when you get on the green. There are no easy putts on this course, which makes it very difficult to post a good low score. If you are above the hole, forget about two putting. It's a beautiful place, and it's fairways and bunkers are in great shape!
