Legacy Ridge Golf Course at Westminster -- Heck of a Public Course
Review by: Jeffrey Martin I decided to write this review because I saw no one else had wrote a review for this course and indeed I believe their should be one. I have played this course a couple of times and I am glad that it is a public course, because I cant think of any other public courses within or around the Denver metro area that are this enjoyable to play. First of all, the course is spread out. You don't have to worry about hitting your ball onto another fairway or having someone hitting their ball at you. At least you should not have to worry about those things. Secondly, from my experience the course was never too crowded. I hate those public courses where people are walking all over the place. Third, I appreciate the fact that the course is quiet. It is not surrounded by the busy streets with hill-billies honking at you as you swing. As a golfer, I love the fact of being out on a golf course with only my thoughts rummaging through my brain. I believe it is a great stress reliever and a very reflective couple of hours away from the materialistically-media frenzied everything. For a public course, this one delivers. The price ain't so bad either.

Mount Massive Golf Course -- A must-play course!
Review by: Stuart Gardner What a fantastic experience to play this course. The views are stunning, and just knowing you're playing the highest course in the continental US is worth the price of admission. A very playable course, with a few quirks thrown in here and there. Such as a par three hole where you can't see the green. Make sure you look it up an a map first before you go, because just finding the course can be a bear as there are no signs pointing the way. I thought "In a town as small as Leadville, how hard can it be to find the golf course?". Well, I found out.
