Pine Brook Country Club -- A Very Special Place
Review by: Michael F. Keane New England golf courses just dont get much better than this old classic layout. Being in the business of golf, i have opportunity to play many courses around the country - this one is my favorite. Also, if you are looking for a better conditioned golf course, good luck! If you can get on, ENJOY.

Berkshire Hills Country Club -- Berkshire Hills CC June 2005
Review by: Richard BHCC is a Tillinghast design that has been in existance for I'm guessing about 80 years. Traditional old New England style with smallish greens that have subtle breaks. Fairways are a mix of broad fairly open holes with others that have old growth trees while some are bordered by pines that were planted 30 years ago. As the name implies, its hilly, with few level lies. Most holes are right in front of you, so no hidden hazards. Only one water hole. Back nine has 3 par 5s and while the front has 3 par 3s. Toughest stretch is 5-9.
