Stevens Point Country Club -- Tree-lined, 'honest' course
Review by: Anonymous This course is a tree-lined, old course that doesn't pull any 'cutesy' gimmicks. It is pretty much straight and reasonably flat. It is a pleasure to play a course that you don't have to worry if you'll get a flat lie on the fairway. The fairways can be immaculate, like playing on carpet. The tall pine trees lining the fairways usually offer some type of recovery shot, if necessary, with few lost balls. The greens are relatively average, all single tiered. The staff is very accomodating and the course is rarely crowded. Membership rates are the lowest I've seen on courses of this caliber. A gem of a course!!
