Review by: John	The information on this web page about the Country Club of Wilbraham is out of date. Two years ago an additional 9 holes were added, and a new club house was constructed. The new holes are carved out of a pine forest, so many of the fairways are nice and narrow. The new greens are very good - much more well drained than the older front nine, so you really have to work to hold them on your approach shots.

Cyprian Keyes Golf Club - Par 3 Course -- *First rate par 3*
Review by: Paul Gallagher	This is an excellent par 3 course. Most of the holes play like real par 3 holes on an actual course, not like something a notch above miniature golf. The greens are large, well-maintained, and for this type of course, fast. The terrain is beautiful. Beginners should be prepared to lose several balls in the thick coverage.

Pebble Creek Country Club
"Not exactly what you'd expect in Aggieland"
Nice layout. Much of central Texas doesn't have the same topography that an Austin or San Antonio can provide, but there were plenty of trees and some slight uphill/downhill despite a generally flat piece of ground. We happened to play on a day when the weather was poor. The wet conditions had us as the only players on the course. The price seemed at little steep as the lone players - $65.00 which included cart, but no range balls. The carts did have plex glass wind shields which was nice for the late fall and early winter. The course was over seeded, which made the fairways and greens very nice. The greens rolled true. There is a lot of water in play over the entire golf course. the design on several of the holes didn't seem like it fit a traditional risk/reward philosophy. For example on #1 and #10 (both par 5's), hitting a second shot over the water would still leave you 40 or 50 yards from the green, where as a 6-8iron lay-up would still leave a wedge. (Maybe Michelle or Tiger could get there?) Numbers #9 and #18 seemed to be the same type example. Water creeps out across the fairway on number 9 - driver is a risky play, but anything less and you've got a 200 yard-uphill approach or so. (I will say lack of roll in wet conditions would have just meant a lesser club off the tee because carrying the water with a driver wasn't an option) Much the same applies to number 18, although the approach was a few yards less. A lot of sand and a lot of water with some skinny necks in the dog legs on some holes is the reader's digest version. Shop staff was nice. Grill was available and had good selection.

Whidbey Golf & Country Club
"Great Secret"
Who would think that such a great course would be in Whidbey. The course has some challeging holes as well as some scenery. For some of you big hitters it has a couple of holes that tempt you to go for it. I wouldn't if I were you. Looks can be deciving. If they don't get you the slope on the 18th green will. Stick it close. A great secret.

"Great Value; Conditions"
This course is great for the price. The greens keeper has done an excellent job. He keeps the greens fast, the fairways immaculate, and the rough is even starting to affect play. This course has a great layout. If your in the area this is the best course to play.

Swamp Fox Golf Club
"My most enjoyable round"
This golf course is in the best shape ever!! it has the best greens in the country. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would reccommend this course to anyone at anytime. It challenges the scratch golfer as well as the high handicapper.
