Review by: Steve I was a little upset about the bad reviews I read here but the truth sometimes hurts. I learned to play golf on this course some 30 yrs ago and I walked it what seems about a 1000 times in my younger days. In it's prime this was the course to play. With all the hills and blind tee shots and small greens you had to be a good golfer to score low on this course. It was a challenge. This course taught you Target golf. You had to hit it in the right place on the fairway to even get a chance to hold the ball on the small greens. This was one of the few course that had two sets of greens. One for winter play and one for summer. But that was then, now the course isn't in great shape.Mostly because Metro hasn't spent any money on up keep or improvemnts to the course. This course was built in 1924 and it hasn't changed much at all since then. If you want to test your iron play from up hill, down hill and side hill lies then this is the course for you. But if putting is your game then you should play somewhere else.
