Barker Lake Country Lodge & Golf Course -- Scenic nice course
Review by: RT I don't know where they are getting the yardage in the general specs. as the course is only nine holes. This is an old course I believe built in the 1920's by Joe Stoltis (an aquaintance of Al Capone). It is slightly hilly, and for the most part fairly open. The first is a par 3 that if you are going to miss the green, you had better miss it right as left slopes off severely and will leave you an extreemly tough chip up the hill to a small green. Number four is a nice hole with water coming into play. Every time I have played it, it has not been crowded. It is a nice little course.

Maple Grove Country Club -- This place is a hole
Review by: Kevin Voight The people that run this place are not very friendly and impossible to work for. They offer dinners that are a joke. The land is nice, but there are other nicer golf courses in this region. Try Drugans, that place is great, the landscape is like none other.

Avoid Maple Grove Country club, and oh, Drugans has no dress code, if you want to wear jeans, do so ;)
