Wintergreen Resort - Devils Knob Course -- Review of Wintergreen Resort
Review by: Linda I make room in my schedule to go to Wintergreen to play Devil's Knob every year. The scenery is breathtaking. There is nothing like hitting your tee shot from high up on the mountain tee boxes and watching it sail gracefully down to the fairway. The course is very challenging. Course management is a must. Of course, getting up in the A.M. and watching the sun come up from your balcony is another plus.

Shenandoah Valley Golf Club - Red/White Course -- Exceptional Value
Review by: Jeff Casaly This course, which I have played fairly often for nearly 10 years now, is almost always in excellent shape, with near perfect lies in the fairways. The greens are fairly fast and in excellent condition. Overall maintenance of the course is therefore, execellent. Even though it is not very long, it can be tight. Shots off the fairway more often then not are stymied by evergreens, which require you to shoot sideways or maybe even backwards for your next shot. It is an exceptional value in that it only cost $12 to walk after 2 Monday - Fridays, and is highly recommended.
