Belmont Golf Course -- *Excellent Value; Fair Course*
Review by: Earl Puhne	Belmont is not Agusta, nor is it The Crossings. But the course is well maintained, rarely crowded, and the price tag is quite reasonable. As for the course itself, it is quite wide open, and one will get disproportionately punished for inaccuracy. Also, the rough is quite short. Few water holes. Sand traps kept very nice with ample sand in them (rare around here, I find). Thus, it is not too difficult to score on this course. The greens are generally kept very nice and the ball rolls quite true. Overall, if you are looking to take a group somewhere to sell golf in Richmond, I would not suggest Belmont. However, if you are looking for a descent overall course to improve your game, and not want spend all day at the course, Belmont is a good choice.
