The Players Club is a wonderful course that requires consistency and patience. The layout is not overly diffucult, yet there are holes that can come up and bite you if you are not careful as to where you place your ball. This course will reward the consistent ball striker. There is a great variety of holes at the Players Club, which will keep the golfer coming back for more and keep him from getting bored with the same types of holes. A great course!! |

Could be taken care of better. Was originally built with the intentions of hosting a PGA event to be tied in with the Indy 500 since the hulmans donated the land. Very tight off of the tee and you can really get yourself in trouble if you are slicer of the ball. Bring alot of golf balls you will need them make no mistake. Highest slope rating of any public course in Indiana. I only rate it four stars because its not in the shape it used to be in. Make no mistake its on fine shape now...it just used to have better taken care of bunkers and greens. But they are in decent shape. |
