Ponderosa Pines Golf Course "Sweet Little Nine-Holer!" I have enjoyed this course for over 10 years. It seems to be a well-kept secret, however. The owner of the course and his wife are the finest folks you will ever meet. Although the course is short, it is demanding. You must place your shots very well in order to shoot a good round.
Stop by and say hello to the nice folks that own and run the course. ---William Goodman, El Paso, Texas
Panorama Country Club - Blue/Red Course "Tough fair course" This course has fast greens and is kept in good shape. The fairways arent long but are tight in places. Nice layout with plenty of water and traps. ---jimmy stevens, montgomery , texas
Pines Par 3 Golf Course "Pines Par 3" This course is just a ball to play. Yes they are only par 3's with the longest being 90yards but this is still a great course to work on your short game. It has done wonders for mine. This course is also a great place to get the kids started on golf. Friendly atmosphere. On Monday Nights they have a Golf Tournament entry fee is about $15, including the hole-in-one pool. ---Ritz, Florida
Hyde Park Golf Club "Wide Open Drive" Fairly well kept course, the fairways are wide open for the most psrt, so if you lose your new Titlest, its your fault...There are a few water hazards in challengable spots. Bunkers are all easily avoidable. This is actually a challenging course, but one that wont drive you nuts with every stroke. Its also a pretty good course for those who arent, Arnold Palmer. You have to know your game, but it allows for mistakes, without costing you 3 strokes. The trees are beautiful, and the wildlife around the course adds to the experience. Its nice to find a place like this tucked among the city, and tall radio towers, which are right in the middle of the course, between holes nine and ten, which is the primary problem spot for this course. Its priced right, and a good challenge for the money. ---Tim Kelly, Jacksonville, Florida USA
