Flossmoor Country Club "Old School" If you get a chance to play on FCC don't miss it! The par 4s are some of the hardest in all of Chicago (much less the U.S.) ---JD, Honolulu
Boundary Oak Golf Course "Not kept up to its potential" This is my childhood course where I learned the game, so naturally I may have a little favorable bias. I'm disappointed with what appears to be permanent "temporary" greens. When are they going to finally fix them, and why should they charge full price until they are fixed? Until then, I'd recommend Blue Rock Springs in Vallejo, Franklin Canyon off Hwy 4, Delta View in Pittsburg, or Lone Tree in Antioch.
Boundary Oak is a beautiful setting though, for those who enjoy viewing the surroundings before making a shot, just as the presentation of a fine meal seems to add to the taste just before devouring it. The layout also provides for some fun shots-- nice elevation changes and you'll use most of the clubs in your bag. ---Darin Lowder, Alpine, UT, former Concord resident
Bow Creek Golf Course "Nice Course" A very open course. Well managed with some challenging doglegs. The Staff is very friendly and the course is marshalled. Best prices in Tidewater for public Golf. The Greens are well kept and the fairways are in average shape for this time of year. ---J.H., Virginia Beach
