Turtle Bay Golf Club "short but challenging" while the course is very short..there are a few holes that require good ball placement or you will end up in the water..hole #2;#6;#11;#12 and #14.....good for the short game as well and for the price you can't beat it; however depending on when you go play can be sometimes very slow. ---D George, West Palm Beach
Texas National Golf Club "Texas National is a great value." This is a great course kept in extremely good shape. It is a little far out from Houston but if you live anywhere on the north side, it's well worth the drive. It's inexpensive and not crowded, especially on weekdays. The greens are in very good shape and the course is challenging without being a killer. ---Dave Ross, Shenandoah, TX
Parkway Golf Course "at it's prime" It was plowed under in favor of condos. A new executive course was built nearby called Fremont PArk. To join the club there, go to GolfFremont.com ---Grego, San Jose, Ca
Regent Park Golf Club "Good course, has all the basics, soon to be a hidden jewel" I played here twice so far. The fairways were in pretty good shape. They recently hired a new superintendent from Charlotte National (Dino) who produces some of the best greens in Charlotte. With a little time, he will have those greens rolling right. He has already started re-doing all the bunkers. Some walks from green to the next tee would be impossible to make. It has some beautiful holes. Most bunkers did not have enough sand in them, but they're being re-worked now with some getting all new drainage and sand and some being filled in as grass bunkers. This will make it a fairer course. ---Steve, Lowell, NC
