Golf is a sport which is becoming increasingly popular. However golf, while it is a sport that is accessible to practically anyone within distance of a driving range or course, still has some particulars as to what is appropriate attire when out on the grass with your clubs. Trails Golf Club, The "The Trails is fantastic." Nice layout with beautiful trees and, save a few holes, away from it all. Challenging drive course, approaches are easier. Nice size greens. ---Stu Callahan, Oklahoma City, OK
Charlotte National Golf Course "Good course" Good course that offers beauty (no houses) and challenge! ---Jonesy, Indian Trail, NC
Bass Lake Golf Course "Oswego21" The fair way greens looked pretty good this past summer, the course its self was a hard one the front nine is almost imossible and the back nine is just plain sick!!! Overall very good beginners course and well maped out. ---Justin Mallers, Sleepy Hollow, IL USA
Wendigo Golf Club "3 today 4-5 tomorrow" 18 months ago this course was finally purchased by someone who really wanted to make a statement about the course. They finally finished off the exiting log structure into a beautiful clubhouse/restaurant/bar. With fantastic views of the course, there are few clubhouses that can beat this "19th hole". The course itself did need some work, the greens looked like they had had some issues over the winter. There are plans underway to relocate holes 8 & 9 (which is a good thing, they are probably the most blah holes on the course) and build a 60 room hotel. All-in-all the course is still one of my favorite courses up in GR. Some TLC to the greens and this course is one of the best in northern Minnesota. ---Michael Andreen, Minneapolis, MN
