Griffith Park Golf Courses - Wilson Course "wonderful" wonderful greens and fairways, every hole was definitely unique and fairly challenging. We were able to find an opening to play on the course on a busy day without making a reservation. Allowed us to bring a spectator, with a price of course. Played both courses and would definitely come back. The only set-back was...there wasn't a beverage cart in sight and the play was pretty slow, had to wait for other players. Overall experience was great and would recommend to others. ---scott o'neal, Orange County
Mount Hood Golf Course "Nice layout" We actually got lost going to an outing and got directions to this course. Our first time in the Boston area. Nice views on some of the tees. At our age it is too hilly to walk. Overall the conditions were good for a public course. ---Al Smith, Pittsburgh, PA
Gibson Woods Golf Course "Great public course" Gibson Woods is a challenging public golf course in Monmouth, IL. It is a mature course that challenges the golfer to play the fairway on most holes. The course features lots of trees, some water, and some elevated greens. The course favors the accurate golfer more than the long ball hitter. Although an accurate long ball hitter will consistently score well here. The course is very well maintained, has a driving range, and is generally only crowded on weekends. ---jdb, Monmouth, IL
Long Island National Golf Course "wind wind wind" Great course. Great shape. The only problem is the people you may play with. Every now and than you get the stuck-up Hampton type. If you can tune that kind of stuff out you will have a great time. My advice would be to play from the tips. ---MARK, LONG ISLAND
