Los Angeles Royal Vista Golf Club - North/South Course "Good starter course" I began playing Royal Vista in High School because that is where my high school team practiced. It's a good course to get started on, but if you're looking for a more elegant golf course where only exclusive golfers are, this may not be the one for you. ---Golf Junkie, La Puente, CA USA
Forest Heights Country Club "South Georgia's best secret" What a wonderful couse that plays well all year round. This couse will test all skill levels but is fair. With wide fairways but tough rough and a lot of trees if you miss the fairway. Fairly long most par 4 play between 380 to 410 yards. Water comes into play on 5 holes. Couse is in great shape and a 3 1/2 hour round is the norm! ---Anonymous, Statesboro Ga.
Lake Platte Golf Club "It's Okay" This course is okay as far a playability goes. When I went there were dead spots of grass in the fairways and the greens, however we were in the middle of a drought during this time. For a small town golf course, it is pretty good. ---Jack, Nebraska
Clayton Park Golf Course "Local Hidden Gem" This is a fine local course for working on your irons. Even as a (60 year old) senior, I seldom use more than a 5 wood here. No sand, and water barely comes into play on one hole. Drastic elevation changes on the par 3 second and third holes. Course is wide open and wind can sometimes be a factor. Great for sharpening your skills before taking on regulation courses or for a pleasant 2 to 3 hours outdoors. ---A Non, Crum Lynne, PA USA
