Golf is a sport which is becoming increasingly popular. However golf, while it is a sport that is accessible to practically anyone within distance of a driving range or course, still has some particulars as to what is appropriate attire when out on the grass with your clubs. For the most part, when one thinks [...]

Springville Country Club "Best Course in WNY" Not an overly long course, it rewards accuracy off the tee and penalizes errant strokes. The greens are fast and true, and generally break less than one would imagine. The front nine is deceptive, punishing anyone who strays off the tree-lined fairways. The back nine can be attacked, but the sightlines off the tees can intimidate the first time player.
Use long irons from the tee to keep the ball in play(only if they are are a strength in your game), and you will be surprised with the result.
Putting is the primary key to scoring on this picturesque layout. ---Bob C., Hamburg, NY
Quail Ridge Golf Course "Great Learning Course" A very fair, playable course. Gives the novice an opportunity to try their skills without extreme risk. It also will challenge the low handicap golfer with it's terrain and hazard placement. The par 5's are scattered on the course so as to challenge you at the most critical times. Holes 8 through 12 will leave you feeling as though you've run a marathon only to have very delicate par 3's ahead. ---Jason S. Bruce, Joplin, MO
Ballwin Golf Course "Ballwin shouldn't be ignored!" I play this course regularly on a ladies league. It is consistently in great shape, with very challenging greens. The greens are typically in fantastic shape--better than The Bluffs by far! The pro, Dave is knowledgable and great for lessons for both beginners and those wanting to improve. I believe the only 'problem' is for the men following the ladies on their league days--we're trying to pick up our speed. You'll enjoy the challenges of the water(there is a creek/water on 7 of the 9 holes) and sand traps. ---Katie, Chesterfield, MO
Broken Arrow Golf & Athletic Club "GREAT GREENS" THE COURSE HAS A EXCELLENT SET OF GREENS AND THE FAIRWAYS ARE NOT BAD EITHER. NOT ONE OF THE HARDEST COURSES AROUND, BUT DEFINITLY A GOOD ONE. ---Anonymous, TULSA
