Southmoore Golf Course "Tough Day" I played this course with my brother,(scratch) on a Saturday in September 2003.
We found it easily, we paid and went thru the rather surly starter and we were off, there wasn't much of a wait on the first tee.
The first couple of holes were standard, it was a rather breezy day so I was really challenged to keep my ball on our the fairway.(this would be my problem for most of the round).
Nice elavation changes, and the course looked great compared to it's neighbor,(whitetail).
Dogs and beer at the turn.
The back nine was just as nice as the front.
Immaculate greens with challenging pin positions.
Afterwards it was a couple of more beers and burgers at the lounge. Good food. If we had more time we would have gone to their fine dining restaurant, got a glance at their menu, looked really nice.
great sunset too!
Overall a great day. ---Nathan Fado, Philadelphia PA
