Lexington Golf & Country Club "Best Kept Secret In Central VA" Of all the courses I have played through out VA I would have to say this is one of the best kept secrets in Virginia. The greens are very fast but yet they hold very well. The vista's of the mountains on the back nine are breath taking. The #17 hole could one day be as comparable to one of the holes at Augusta or the TPC Sawgrass. Its and old club with alot of history set up in a beautiful historic town! If you can get your self and invitation to play it I would highly recommend it.
Keep your head down and let it rip.

Stone Oak Country Club "A beautiful midwest course worth playing" This course looks timid on paper but watch out on the front nine. A couple of par 5's can really fool you by their degree of difficulty and a snowman is not uncommon on #6.
The course is usually in immaculate shape with more hills on the back 9 that you would expect. The shortest par 3 I've ever played, #16 can be tricky even with the softest loft wedge.
Overall this coursees beauty is in the top 10 in northwest ohio, and it is great fun to play given that you can find a member to take you out and enjoy it. ---theclarkman, Toledo, Ohio USA
Stevens Park Golf Course "Classic Muny" Stevens is only a few minutes from downtown. It's in a beautiful area and has some scenic views of Dallas. It's a classic muny and a good course to walk.
There are many challenging holes and there are some very easy holes. Number 2 is a very short par 4 and is reachable from all of the tees.
Number 12 is a short par 5 dog leg that is reachable in 2 but there are many well placed trees and an elevated green with a mean slope and you'll be happy if you get your 5.
There are a few holes where you can hit your drive as far as you can but most take some strategy off the tee. On 17 you can hit 220 yards straight away or 140 yards to the right side of the fairway and both will leave an open short iron shot to the green... if you avoid two beautiful oaks and a wide creek on that tee shot.
The par 3's are gorgeous and the two on the back are included in the 3 hardest on the back nine handicap chart.
Stevens Park is a favorite, great taquitos in the snack bar too. ---John Meiners, Dallas
Harpeth Hills Golf Course "challenging" A challenge to any golfer. Play it from the back tees and it is all you can handle. Seems like your hitting the ball uphill all day long. A true test of your golfing ability! A well maintained golf course with quick greens. ---Tom, Franklin, TN USA
