Pines Municipal Golf Course, The "Tough for it's size" I'm origianally from Toccoa and have played this golf course many many times. While only a 9 hole course, it is worth the money to play it. It is far less expensive than most golf corses and offers real challenges for even experienced golfers. The terrain is extremely hilly and almost every hole has an extreme change in elavation. The green's are extremely small and very very fast. During the summer the fairways and greens are fairly well manicured although winter play tends to be a little harder on some holes due to a harder fairways from less moisture. Fairways are extemely tight with hundreds of opportunities to lose balls in pine forests and a courseside lake on the last two holes. Overall, not an allstar course but for a quick, challenging, and inexpensive round well worth the time. ---Nick Simons, Atlanta, Ga
Bear Creek Country Club "Bear Creek very pleasureable course to play for the experience" Bear Creek is a very pleasureable course to play. To the unexperienced golfer it may appear difficult, and it is. Bear Creek is one of the hardest courses in Washington. Surrounded by beautiful homes and beautiful mountain views it is not only a challenging course but a scenic one. After living in the commnunity for several years take it from someone who knows, BEar Creek is the way to go! ---Christie Chesebrough, Woodinville, WA
Goose Creek Golf Club "Best Golf for Your Money!" Very enjoyable course for most any level of golfer. ---Cliff, Anaheim Hills, CA
Woodcrest Country Club "Woodcrest Country Club" Woodcrest Country Club is not a long hitters course, but rather accuracy is rewarded. Woodcrest is famous for its rough, so keeping it in the Fairway is the play. Greens are smaller than the nouveau courses, but not the undulating and overly tricky type either. My friends who are low handicappers tell me that the course is tough but fair, and conservative play is best. Higher handicappers like me know the value of course management here. ---Joseph Myers, Voorhees, New Jersey, USA
