Sanctuary Golf Club "Great local course" For the money, this is a challaging and well condition course. It is well maintained and can get tough if you use the back tees. ---Mark Kam, Mokena
Newnan Country Club "Tough Layout" Beautiful layout with a lot of elevation changes and fast, undulating greens. The course also winds through a lot of trees, mostly pines and oaks. First six holes are a real challenge. If you can survive these opening holes with a score that's just a few strokes over par, you may be able to recover by the end. The 15th hole is a monster from back tees, measuring almost 650 yards. Overall, bring every club in your bag. ---M. Page, Lawrenceville, GA
Montecito Country Club "My first course" I grew up playing MCC. The main criticism of the track has always been that you never get a flat lie, which is often enough true, but a weak criticism nonetheless.
When typically fast the greens are challenging (hint: everything breaks toward the ocean); on #13, if you don't keep it below the hole, any putt you don't sink will wind up all the way at the bottom.
The course favors a longer driver, and offers plenty of challenge and opportunity for creativity. And you can't beat the view of the Pacific. ---Trent Adams, Irvine, CA USA
Clifty Creek Golf Course "Aluxinterior course review" Clifty Creek is a subtle golf course isolated in the southern Indana landscape. Devoid of the typical golf snobbery this is a great course to relax with friends or work on your game. The only thing that this course is lacking is another nine holes and more sand traps, but I believe both are currently under construction. ---A. O. Long, Columbus, IN
