This rolling course is considered "sneaky long" by players. The fairly undulating greens are fast, and the fairways have ample landing space. However, if you stray with your tee shot, two inches of rough line the fairways. Water comes into play on eight holes. The most difficult hole is #2, a 339-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot out of a narrow chute and onto a landing area more than 200 yards out, where the fairway then doglegs ninety degrees to the left. "Tee Time Golf" wrote in September 1996 that "it is a track that tests your course management and shotmaking skills without the tricked up excesses and gimmicks used by some big-name golf course designers." Ladies receive a discount on Wednesdays. The weekend nine hole rate does not go into effect until 1 PM.
